Up To Speed

I have a long list of incomplete posts which I'm aching to get around to completing ASAP, but for now a quick check in with what I'm currently up to.  

This past weeks been rather busy for me.  Ive been staying at my relatives in London since mid last week, and I'm loving it.  Ive been able to see more of the city (theres so much to see!), as well as being able to spend time with my nine year-old cousin too, which has been great!  But more importantly, I started doing some work within my Aunts business' since I received a National Insurance Number and have been put on the payroll!

I headed down to Brighton on Tuesday and Wednesday where I learnt the basics and earnt some ,well needed, money at the same time.  To my surprise, I really enjoyed working on a shop floor again - the last time was when I was 15 and better things on my mind - but this was a lot different.  Customers were really friendly and different, and because of my accent they seemed to also be interested in my story too.  Ive got more days booked to work in some of the stores in the next coming weeks so I'm looking forward to it!

The weeks really been full of learning for me.  My uncles been teaching me the art of professional photography.  This because were doing a photo shoot for my Aunts new jewellery collections  which I have been assigned the photographer for!  Its all a bit scary, as before this I barely knew how to use my amateur Canon 1000D properly, but its extremely exciting too. I couldn't be any luckier, really, working alongside a professional photographer and successful business woman at the same time is like having two apprenticeships, I'm learning so much about both industries at the same time.  

Anyways, thats whats ahead for me this coming week, and how exciting it is for me, I really cannot explain! Ciao!
