After leaving New Zealand back in April, Ive tried to keep in contact with my nearest and dearest. Its hard because of the time difference and having such a different lifestyle to those back home, with University, work, etc, but we do our best to keep updated.
My best friend was fortunate enough to whisk away from her family in Bosnia for a few nights to come join the two of us in Dubrovnik. I couldnt have been happier to see her, it was the three hooligans back together again, and we didnt waste a minute of it... that is, after i slept of some extreme flight-sickness.
Its surprising thinking how three people can live in three completely different parts of the world, and live completely diverse lifestyles, yet when in each others company, its as if we never left home. Im so grateful to have spent the time with two of my closest friends, definitely helped fight the homesickness, well for a few weeks at least.
